DEUTER TRAIL RUN

Set against the stunning backdrop of São Bento do Sapucaí in São Paulo state, the Deuter Trail Run by Mountain Festival offers runners an unforgettable adventure on May 23, 2027. This year's edition features three challenging distances: a scenic 8 km trek, a more demanding 13 km route, and a full marathon trail event of 21 km. Participants will navigate through diverse terrain that includes stretches exposed to the sun and dense forest areas, providing an exhilarating mix of natural beauty and physical challenge.
The race starts at Centro de Lazer do Trabalhador in Arena do Mountain Festival, where runners are greeted by a vibrant atmosphere filled with fellow trail enthusiasts and supporters. The course is meticulously designed to showcase the region's unique landscapes while emphasizing safety and sustainability. Runners will find hydration stations along the way but are encouraged to carry their own water due to the varied terrain.
For those tackling the 21 km distance, essential gear such as anti-histamine tablets, a windbreaker or anorak, and recommended items like emergency blankets and whistles must be carried for added security. The event is open to athletes aged 18 years and older on race day, with a limit of 1,200 participants ensuring a manageable yet competitive environment.
Registration opens on September 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM and closes either April 30, 2027, at 10:00 PM or when the participant cap is reached. With three pricing tiers available for each distance, early sign-ups can secure spots at lower rates.
The Deuter Trail Run by Mountain Festival promises an immersive experience that combines breathtaking scenery with a rigorous trail running challenge, making it a must-attend event for serious and casual runners alike.
