About the Event

Step into the rugged beauty of Cypress Mountain for the third installment of the 5 Peaks Trail Running Series, where British Columbia’s natural splendor meets trail running excellence. The race offers three distinct courses tailored to various skill levels and ambitions: the Sport Course (6.3 km), Enduro Course (~12.75 km), and Grit Course (~16.4 km).
The Sport Course provides a balanced mix of technical and smoother sections, testing your agility on gnarly singletrack trails while offering stunning alpine views. For those seeking more challenge, the Enduro Course adds nearly double the distance with super technical terrain that winds past two picturesque lakes, requiring deft footwork over countless roots along the way.
The Grit Course extends this adventure by another 4 km of challenging ascents and descents, pushing your limits on Cypress Mountain’s iconic trails. Each course also features a Hike division for those who prefer to walk without racing constraints but still enjoy scenic vistas and support from volunteers at aid stations.
Water and Blonyx Hydra+ electrolyte drink are available at the start/finish line as well as along the route, ensuring hydration throughout your run or hike. Participants should plan accordingly if they anticipate being out longer than an hour by bringing their own reusable container for fluids and nutrition.
Registration includes optional swag and a sustainably sourced wooden finisher medal that can be purchased online ahead of time or on race day while supplies last. Packet pick-up is available the evening before at Distance Runwear in North Vancouver from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Spectators are welcome, with prime viewing spots near the start/finish area where they can cheer runners and hikers as they embark on their adventure through Cypress Mountain’s breathtaking landscapes.
