Cross du Valentin

On December 6, 2026, the Cross ouvert competition will bring together runners of all ages and skill levels for an exhilarating day at the track. The event features multiple races with distances ranging from approximately 700 meters to nearly 4.4 kilometers, catering to young athletes in categories like Mini-Athlètes and Poussin(e)s through to more seasoned competitors.
The morning kicks off with the Défi des Champions for Benjamin(e)s at around 10:30 AM, followed by La Ruée des Titans for Minimes a half-hour later. Both races challenge young athletes over distances of roughly 2.15 kilometers and 3.6 kilometers respectively. At noon, the Cross Élite race takes center stage with its demanding course spanning approximately 4.4 kilometers.
In the afternoon, events shift to shorter but equally intense competitions for younger participants. The Mini-Athlètes event at 12:00 PM is designed specifically for young children covering about 700 meters, while the Cross des Fusées race follows shortly after with a distance of roughly 1.3 kilometers.
The day concludes with two relay events that showcase teamwork and endurance among mixed-gender teams. The Relais des Audacieux sees four-person squads tackle an approximately 1.9-kilometer course starting at noon, followed by the more challenging Relais Supersonique where teams cover a distance of nearly 4.3 kilometers.
This diverse lineup ensures there's something for everyone, from budding young athletes to seasoned competitors and relay enthusiasts looking to push their limits on this exciting day in December.
