Cross de la Sablière

Join us on January 31, 2027, for the Cross de la Sablière in Viroflay's serene state forest. Celebrating its golden anniversary with a stunning 50th-anniversary medal at the finish line, this race offers two challenging courses: a shorter 6.2 km and an epic 11.1 km route through the lush Meudon State Forest. The longer course boasts climbs that will test your endurance and descents where gravity takes over.
Though not set on sand as its name might suggest, "Sablière" references a former quarry used for Versailles' construction. Runners of all ages can participate in various distances, including shorter options tailored for children. With the European Cross Country champion Youssef Mekdafou's record still standing, you'll find yourself amidst breathtaking scenery and an encouraging atmosphere that welcomes both seasoned athletes and beginners.
After crossing the finish line, unwind with a visit to nearby attractions like the Thoiry Zoological Park or explore Paris' historic landmarks. The race promises not just competition but also relaxation in nature’s embrace and cultural exploration post-race.
Get ready for a memorable run through one of France's most beautiful natural settings.
