On November 8, 2026, runners and walkers of all ages are invited to participate in the Parque Madureira Arcos Olímpicos Race. This family-friendly event takes place at dawn, starting promptly at 8:00 AM with a scenic course that winds through the vibrant greenery of Parque Madureira. Participants can choose between a 4 km run or walk, both routes offering breathtaking views of Rio de Janeiro's iconic Olympic arches. The race is more than just competition; it’s an opportunity to give back to the community by supporting local initiatives such as Projeto Coração Que Ajuda and Projeto Café na Tenda. At registration on the day of the event from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM, participants are encouraged to bring a kilogram of non-perishable food for donation. While there is no chip timing, all finishers will receive a commemorative medal upon completion. Top male and female runners can earn special recognition with medals awarded to the first fifty in each category. Additionally, trophies will be given out based on criteria like best costume and largest donations made by individuals or teams during registration. For more information about this uplifting event that combines sport, fun, and community support, contact Philipe Pinheiro at (21) 99076-6733. Don’t miss the chance to join in a morning filled with energy and solidarity as you contribute positively to your city's social projects. Join us on November 8th for an unforgettable day of camaraderie, fitness, and community service!
