Step into the magical world of Peter Pan for an enchanting race through Parque Madureira in Rio de Janeiro on December 20, 2026. This 4 km run and walk event combines fitness with fun, inviting participants to explore a whimsical course inspired by J.M. Barrie's classic tale.
The park’s lush landscapes provide the perfect backdrop for runners and walkers alike, as they navigate through vibrant greenery and iconic landmarks like the Olympic Arcs. The race day promises an atmosphere filled with excitement and camaraderie, celebrating health, joy, and community spirit.
Participants can choose between a competitive run or a leisurely walk, both covering the same scenic 4 km route. Categories are divided into age groups for fair competition: ALPHA (18-29), BETA (30-39), GAMA (40-49), DELTA (50-59), and OMEGA (60+). The race starts at 8 AM, offering a morning full of adventure.
Registration opens on February 2, 2026, until December 18, or while spots are available. Upon signing up, participants must confirm their spot with payment and provide one kilogram of non-perishable food for donation during kit pickup on December 19 from 9 AM to 7 PM at the Administrative Headquarters in Parque Madureira.
In addition to a bib number, all finishers receive a medal. Top performers earn special recognition: medals go to the first 50 male and female runners crossing the line, while trophies are awarded to the top five overall for both genders as well as age group winners.
