Corrida de la Beaujoire

The Corrida de la Beaujoire, now in its 42nd edition, is an annual celebration of athletics and community spirit. Held on December 26, this race has become a beloved tradition for runners across the region, drawing participants to Saint-Joseph de Porterie's vibrant streets. Organized by ALPAC Nantes (Amicale Laïque Porterie Athlétique et Culturelle), the event showcases the iconic tribunes of the Stade de la Beaujoire, creating a unique and memorable race course for all levels with distances ranging from 1.5 km to 9 km.
The atmosphere is electric as local residents line the route, cheering on runners in this family-friendly event that highlights athletic excellence while supporting the community's cultural fabric. A portion of the entry fees will be donated to "La Maison de Nicodème," a palliative care unit at the heart of Nantes, adding an extra layer of meaning to each stride taken.
Participants can look forward to a fully secured course and the thrill of racing through historic venues. Join in or cheer from the sidelines as this lively event brings together sports enthusiasts and supporters for a day filled with joy and solidarity.
