Corrida de la Tim Muco Méo

On Saturday, December 12, 2026, the community of Bouzillé hosts its first edition of a solidarity-focused Corrida as part of the third annual Christmas Market. This festive and friendly day aims to raise funds for mucoviscidosis research in honor of Timéo and others affected by this condition.
The event kicks off with an afternoon race tailored specifically for young runners, welcoming children born from 2021 onwards. The Corrida Enfants offers a fun-filled 700-meter course where kids can enjoy the spirit of competition while parents cheer them on at the finish line. Registration is available directly onsite and costs just €2 per child.
As dusk approaches, the main event takes center stage with an adult-friendly 8.4-kilometer run that features two loops around a scenic route within Bouzillé. Participants aged sixteen years or older are invited to join this non-timed race, which promises plenty of on-course entertainment and camaraderie along its winding paths. The top three finishers will receive special recognition, while the best-dressed runners—whether solo competitors or team members—will also be rewarded for their creativity.
The race starts from the parking area near the town's community halls in Bouzillé and is open to a limited number of participants who must register beforehand. Following the run, attendees can explore the Christmas market, relax with hot beverages at the refreshment stand, and indulge in local treats as they continue celebrating this meaningful event.
