On November 2, 2026, runners and walkers are invited to participate in the Beneficent Run & Walk at Quinta da Boa Vista in Rio de Janeiro. This event supports local initiatives such as Projeto Coração Que Ajuda and Projeto Café Na Tenda by collecting non-perishable food items and essential goods for families and institutions in need. Participants can choose between a 4km run or walk, both starting at 8 AM from the picturesque Quinta da Boa Vista. The race offers categories based on age groups: ALPHA (18-29), BETA (30-39), GAMA (40-49), DELTA (50-59), and OMEGA (60+). Trophies will be awarded to the top five finishers in each category. In addition to supporting a good cause, runners can enjoy scenic routes through lush greenery and historical landmarks. Registration is open from May 22 until November 1, or while spots are available, with options for individual entries at R$50 plus a kilogram of non-perishable food, or the basic kit including a t-shirt for R$80. Participants must collect their kits on November 1 and bring proof of payment along with one kilogram of non-perishable food. No excuses will be accepted if participants miss the designated pick-up time, as no late kit deliveries are permitted during race day. Join this meaningful event not only to challenge yourself physically but also to make a difference in your community.
