China Camp Trail Run

China Camp State Park invites runners of all levels for an unforgettable trail running experience on May 29, 2027. Nestled along San Pablo Bay and offering stunning views of Mt. Tamalpais, the park's extensive network of single-track trails winds through lush forests before descending to open paths by the water’s edge. Participants can choose from a half marathon, 10K, or 5K route, each featuring breathtaking scenery and challenging terrain.
Race day begins with check-in starting at 7:30 AM, followed by staggered start times based on distance: Half Marathon runners take off at 8:30 AM, the 10K starts promptly at 8:45 AM, and the 5K follows shortly after at 9:00 AM. Aid stations are strategically placed along each course to provide essential hydration and energy replenishment with a variety of snacks like Gu Energy gels, trail mix, fruit, sandwiches, and beverages.
Volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring race day runs smoothly, offering assistance from setup through post-race festivities. In appreciation for their dedication, volunteers receive free T-shirts made from high-performance District Perfect-Tri fabric, along with complimentary food and the opportunity to earn credits toward future Inside Trail Racing events.
All finishers will be awarded custom medals emblazoned with the race logo, while top three overall winners in each gender category (male, female, non-binary) across all distances receive special trophies and additional prizes from sponsors. To ensure your spot on the podium or secure a race shirt, registration by May 15, 2027 is recommended.
