Chase the Pudding: A Festive Run for Change on Weymouth Beach
On December 20, 2026, lace up your running shoes and don your Santa suit for Chase the Pudding, a heartwarming charity event that transforms Weymouth Beach into a winter wonderland of laughter and camaraderie. This festive 5km run invites runners of all ages to hit the shoreline under crisp blue skies, with hundreds of participants in red suits creating an infectious atmosphere of joy.
For those looking for something shorter but just as delightful, the "Chase the Elf" 2km race is designed specifically for younger legs and offers a chance for kids to experience the fun without the longer distance. Both races feature breathtaking views along Weymouth’s picturesque coastline, with runners enjoying the sparkling sea under the winter sun.
Proceeds from this event support vital community initiatives through The Will Mackaness Trust, which aims to provide young people in Weymouth and Portland with essential mental health services, educational programs, and enriching extracurricular activities. By participating or fundraising, you contribute directly to making a meaningful difference in the lives of local youth.
Join Chase the Pudding for an unforgettable day filled with festive spirit and the chance to create lasting memories while supporting important causes.
