Champagnegaloppen 2026

Welcome to the Champagnegaloppen, an annual running event held on December 31, 2026, at Køge Stadion. Organized by Køge Atletik & Motion, this festive race offers both a 5 km and a 10 km course through scenic paths around the stadium grounds.
The 5-kilometer route winds past picturesque views of Køge's landscape while the longer 10-kilometer option includes two laps for those seeking an extra challenge. The day culminates at the finish line back in the heart of Køge Stadion, where participants are greeted with a celebration fit for champions.
After crossing the finish line, runners can look forward to refreshments including water and champagne along with traditional kransekage and fruit. Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female competitors in both races as well as special recognition for young athletes participating in the 5 km event.
Registration is now open at Køge Atletik & Motion's clubhouse or on race day, ensuring a spot among up to 800 runners enjoying this unique blend of sport and celebration. Don't miss your chance to ring in the New Year with a splash of champagne and a dash of competition.
