Taastrup Løbet nr. 617

Taastrup Løbet, now in its 617th edition, offers runners an uninterrupted monthly running tradition dating back to 1975. Held on December 13, 2026, this flat route primarily features asphalt surfaces with a slight variation of just 5 meters and includes a challenging 2 km gravel road section for the longer distance participants. The event caters to both casual runners and those looking to set personal bests.
Registration fees are DKK 60 for either the 5 or 10 km races, while children can participate in the shorter 2 km race for just DKK 30. Members of TIK Løberne enjoy free entry but must return any borrowed chips by the end of the event to avoid a DKK 100 charge.
The chip timing system requires runners to attach their tags securely below ankle height on one shoe, ensuring accurate time recording. The race adheres strictly to time limits: 45 minutes for the 5 km and 75 minutes for the 10 km routes, making it a well-paced event suitable for all levels of fitness.
With its consistent monthly schedule, Taastrup Løbet invites runners from across Denmark to experience this unique tradition in a friendly community setting.
