CBTE Morland Half Marathon

Set against the stunning backdrop of Cumbria, the Morland Half Marathon is an invigorating trail race for runners and walkers alike. Starting and finishing in the picturesque village of Morland near Penrith, this 13-mile course weaves through a diverse landscape that showcases the beauty of the Eden Valley.
The route, which shares sections with the longer Morland Marathon, offers participants a taste of what to expect from its full-distance counterpart. The largely off-road trail features mixed terrain and ascends over 1300 feet in elevation, providing both challenge and reward for those who take part. Along the way, runners will encounter rivers, becks, charming villages, lush woodlands, and rolling pastures.
The self-navigated course is well-supported with clear signage at key points to guide participants through this scenic adventure. Water and snacks are available at two checkpoints along the route, ensuring that all competitors stay hydrated and energized throughout their journey.
