Caton Gala 10k invites runners to lace up their shoes and hit the scenic route from Caton Village towards Lancaster on Saturday, May 15, 2027. The race begins at 1:00 pm sharp at Mill Field in Caton, Lancashire (LA2 9HY), offering a picturesque out-and-back course that showcases the charm of rural England.
Participants will experience a mix of rolling hills and flat stretches as they run through quiet countryside roads leading towards Lancaster. This event is designed to cater to all levels of runners, from casual joggers looking for a fun day out to seasoned athletes aiming for personal bests. All finishers can look forward to receiving an exclusive medal commemorating their achievement.
To ensure safety on the course and maintain awareness of surroundings, headphones are strictly prohibited unless they are bone conduction headphones as authorized by England Athletics. This policy is in place to allow runners to stay alert while enjoying the race atmosphere.
