Carry the Weight Club - Burleigh

On November 28, 2026, runners will gather for an extraordinary challenge that combines physical exertion with a powerful message of support. Hosted by Benji Haldon, the event aims to raise awareness about men's mental health through a unique and engaging race format.
Participants will cover a distance of 10 kilometers while collectively moving a staggering 500 kilograms over the course. This isn't your typical run; it’s an opportunity for individuals to come together in solidarity, pushing themselves both physically and mentally as they carry this symbolic weight.
The route is designed not only to test endurance but also to highlight scenic areas within the community, making the journey more than just a race—it's a meaningful walk through significant landmarks. As runners move forward, each step represents progress towards breaking down stigmas surrounding men’s mental health issues and fostering open conversations about well-being.
Join this impactful event where every kilometer run contributes to a larger cause, encouraging participants to reflect on the importance of emotional resilience and support networks in our lives.
