Calpe · Costa Blanca, Spain · January Departure

Immerse yourself in the heart of cycling paradise during the winter training camp in Calpe, where professionals from around the world converge for their off-season conditioning. Nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and the towering mountains of Marina Alta, this region offers some of Europe's finest riding terrain. Each day brings a new adventure with named climbs like Coll de Rates, Vall d’Ebo’s dramatic gorge road, and Puerto de Tudons.
The rides are designed for purposeful training rather than racing; enjoy rolling out under Spanish skies alongside fellow enthusiasts and perhaps even the pros who frequent these roads during their winter retreats. The routes are meticulously crafted by local guides familiar with every twist and turn, ensuring an experience that rewards effort with breathtaking scenery and challenging climbs.
Accommodation is provided in a seafront hotel for six nights, complete with breakfast and dinner included each day (lunch on your own), as well as airport transfers from Alicante. The week’s itinerary totals 662 kilometers of riding and over 11,000 meters of climbing, tailored to strong intermediate to advanced cyclists comfortable handling long days that include sustained climbs.
This is more than just a training camp; it's an opportunity to escape the winter chill at home and embrace the warmth and camaraderie of Calpe’s cycling community.
