This beloved winter classic, Canada's second oldest road race, welcomes runners and walkers from across Ontario to celebrate on December 26, 2026. Participants can choose between a scenic 10-mile (16km) route or the more compact 4-mile (6.4km) course.
The event is known for its festive atmosphere and strong sense of community spirit as runners gather in Hamilton’s heart to take part in this cherished annual tradition. The race courses wind through familiar streets, offering a unique blend of winter charm and local landmarks that make each run memorable.
After crossing the finish line, head indoors to the YMCA Main Gymnasium where post-race refreshments await along with change rooms complete with showers for your comfort.
