Welcome to the Black Diamond Triathlon, the official season opener for the 2026 RTB series. Known as "The Opener," this is the moment to stop training and start racing. Raise the Bar is proud to present a full lineup of events: Olympic Triathlon, Olympic Aquabike, Sprint Triathlon, and both Sprint & Olympic Relays.

Since 2004, Raise the Bar has managed a world-class multisport team. That passion flows directly into our events, supported by an energetic staff and a crew of over 200 athletes who race and volunteer to ensure every detail is perfect. When you race with us, you’re racing with a community that knows exactly what it takes to cross the finish line.

The Course Experience
Prepare for a picture-perfect start with a swim in the pristine waters of Deep Lake at Nolte State Park. From there, you’ll take on rolling, elevation-friendly bike and run courses that wind through the quiet beauty of Ravensdale and Selleck, and across the scenic farmlands of Enumclaw. It’s a fast, beautiful course designed to help you find your rhythm early in the season.

The Rewards of the Race
Every athlete who finishes will earn a commemorative medal to mark the start of their 2026 journey. For those who show up ready to dominate the podium, we’re awarding our signature custom pint glasses to the top finishers.

All participants receive:

• Official 2026 Race T-shirt (register by JUNE 12TH to guarantee your T-shirt)
• Finisher Medal
• A hot post-race meal to refuel and celebrate

Nolte State Park is a stunning, spectator-friendly venue. Bring the family, enjoy the vibe, and let them cheer you on from the shores of the lake.

We strongly encourage picking up your packet before race morning to keep check-in smooth and stress-free for everyone!

Nolte State Park (during race setup)

Race Morning Pickup - Saturday, June 27 (last resort only - 8-8:45am)
Available on-site, but please plan ahead — with hundreds of athletes checking in, wait times can be long and volunteer capacity is limited.

To honor the athletes who grind with us all summer long, we’ve created The Trident. This isn’t just another medal—it’s a custom-crafted, heavy-duty trophy designed to recognize pure grit and consistency across the entire season.

To claim the steel and the glory, you must complete the journey through all three iconic 2026 RTB stages:

1. Black Diamond Triathlon (The Opener) – YOU ARE HERE
2. Lake Meridian Triathlon (The Biggest Stage)
3. Bonney Lake Triathlon (The Grand Finale)

When you cross that final finish line at Bonney Lake, the Trifecta Trident will be placed in your hands—the ultimate symbol of a season well-fought.

Once you've conquered Black Diamond, prepare yourself for the crown jewel of the PNW. Lake Meridian is our flagship event—the biggest stage in the series with the largest crowds and the highest energy. It's the "Mid-Summer Classic" you won't want to miss as you hunt down your Trident.
