BIKE AND RUN DU CRV

The Bike and Run CRV is an exhilarating multisport challenge for both licensed FFTRI athletes and non-licensed participants. Held on February 7, 2027, at the hippodrome park in La Tour De Salvagny, this event offers a unique blend of running and cycling over varied distances designed to cater to different age groups.
Participants under 12 years old can take part in shorter versions: a 1.8 km run for ages 6-9 and a 3.5 km course for those aged 10-11, both focusing solely on the running segment. For older competitors starting at the Benjamins category, an additional cycling leg is included after a brief foot race to reach their waiting partners.
The main event features teams of two who must wear identical uniforms and ensure that each bike meets safety standards before competing. A strict helmet requirement ensures everyone's protection throughout the course. The competition allows for seamless transitions between running and biking legs, with participants encouraged to switch roles as needed but mandated to cross the finish line together.
Scoring ties is straightforward: in case of a dead heat, the younger combined age of team members determines their ranking. This event not only tests physical prowess but also teamwork and strategic planning under race conditions. The scenic hippodrome setting adds charm to this unique blend of endurance sports.
