BASOC - Heathfield - Northern Night Cup

Immerse yourself in the heart of Scotland's dark countryside for an unforgettable night orienteering experience at Grantown on Spey. This challenging course winds through rugged terrain under the moonlight, demanding participants to navigate with precision and confidence. A working backup torch is mandatory, along with a charged mobile phone for safety. If weather conditions are poor, cagoules must be carried as well. The race starts from the northern end of Grantown on Spey, where parking facilities will be provided. Public amenities such as shops and restaurants make it easy to prepare before the event. Under-14s need an accompanying adult or proof of night orienteering expertise. Should adverse weather force a postponement, updates will be communicated via email, website, and BASOC's Facebook page by 13:00 on race day. For medical assistance, Raigmore Hospital in Inverness is the designated emergency location.
Entrants can register through SIEntries until November 22nd at 23:59. Don't miss out on this unique adventure that tests your limits and rewards you with stunning Scottish landscapes under a starlit sky.
