ATW Grafham Triathlon

Immerse yourself in the picturesque beauty of Grafham Water for the Grafham Triathlon on September 25, 2027. This renowned UK venue offers both experienced athletes and newcomers an ideal setting to challenge themselves or simply enjoy a welcoming atmosphere. Participants can choose between two exciting distances: the Standard Distance (1500m swim, 38km bike, 10km run) and the Sprint Distance (750m swim, 17km bike, 5km run).
The triathlon begins with a refreshing dip in Grafham Water's crystal-clear reservoir. Swimmers complete either one lap for sprinters or two laps for standard distance competitors on the 750-meter loop.
Next up is an out-and-back bike course through charming villages and rolling countryside, offering breathtaking views at every turn. Sprinters will head to Perry before turning back, while those in the Standard Distance continue further into St Neots.
The run leg takes place along natural paths around Grafham Water. Participants race on a flat 5km route that crosses the iconic dam wall and loops past both the finish line and transition area, where enthusiastic supporters cheer them on every lap.
For athletes who prefer not to run, an Aquabike option is available for those competing in the standard distance category. Whether you're aiming for personal bests or simply enjoying a scenic day out, Grafham Triathlon promises unforgettable moments amidst stunning English countryside.
