In its tenth year, the Remembrance Sunday Race has established itself as a poignant and community-driven event. The race begins with an emotionally charged pre-race tribute, followed by a respectful two-minute silence to honor those who have served their country.
Participants will embark on this special run from Leverington village, winding through picturesque back roads that offer both tranquility and speed. The route leads runners towards Newton before circling back for a finish line celebration at the Leverington Sports and Social Club. This year’s edition celebrates its anniversary with limited-edition t-shirts available exclusively to entrants.
Ideal for all levels of runners, this race caters equally well to those aiming for personal bests as it does to newcomers tackling their first 10k in a supportive club atmosphere. The quiet country roads provide an ideal setting for both seasoned athletes and beginners alike.
