About the Event

Runners of all ages and abilities are invited to experience the scenic beauty of Ashibahama Beach, where nature meets sport. The course features a 1.1km loop that winds through lush greenery and along sandy shores, providing runners with breathtaking views at every turn.
In this event, teams will race against time over a distance of 42.195 kilometers for the full relay marathon or half the distance in the Half Relay Marathon. Each team member carries a baton as they cover their designated segment within a four-and-a-half-hour window. The Full Relay Marathon accommodates both casual and competitive runners, making it an inclusive event that encourages teamwork and camaraderie.
For younger participants, there's also a Quarter Relay for elementary school children, offering them the opportunity to experience the thrill of running in a relay format over shorter distances. This family-friendly race allows kids to have fun while learning valuable lessons about cooperation and perseverance.
Entry fees are affordable: ¥2500 per person for the Full Relay Marathon (42.195km), ¥2000 per person for both the Half Relay Marathon (21.0975km) and the Family Quarter Relay, with a discounted rate of ¥1500 for elementary school participants in the Quarter Relay.
This event is not just about competition; it's an opportunity to enjoy Ashibahama Beach’s natural beauty while celebrating the spirit of running together as a community.
