The Anniversary Run 15k is the last race of the Championship Series to commemorate the founding of the Annapolis Striders. Originally run at the end of December at the Naval Academy, it is now held the second weekend of December on the trails of Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis. The race is free for Annapolis Striders members who register before Friday, December 11, 2026. Race Day registration is $25 for everyone.
If you are already registered for the Championship Series, then you do not have to register separately for this race.
The start, finish and awards will take place at the outdoor Sassafras Pavilion.

Annapolis is the capital city of the U.S. state of Maryland. Annapolis was a thriving, wealthy town in the 1600s and 1700s. Many of the houses and other buildings from the 1800s remain, leaving a thriving, vibrant historic district with shops and restaurants along the waterfront. Brick-lined streets and quaint shops add to the feel. You could easily spend a day walking around the town's downtown harbor area shopping and eating. There is also a lively nighttime scene.
