ANJOU’R & NUIT

Anjou’R & Nuit 2026 invites runners to experience an extraordinary blend of sport and cultural immersion over the weekend of October 3rd and 4th, 2026. This fourth edition promises a unique adventure that combines scenic trails with artistic and culinary delights set against the backdrop of Anjou’s historic landscapes.
On Saturday evening, participants will embark on semi-nocturnal trail runs starting from the imposing Château de Brissac, France's tallest castle. The route offers an immersive experience as runners move through a mix of urban and rural terrain illuminated by artistic installations and captivating light shows. Two distance options are available: a 12 km course with 150 meters elevation gain for those seeking a shorter adventure, or the more challenging 25 km trail that climbs over 250 meters.
The following day, runners will have the chance to explore trails around the Château de Serrant. Starting from Saint-Georges-sur-Loire's Abbey Gardens, participants can enjoy autumn foliage as they traverse emblematic sites including the grand estate of Chateau de Serrant itself. Here too, two distances are on offer: a 12 km run and an extended option covering 22 kilometers.
In addition to the stunning scenery and engaging trail experiences, registration includes access to artistic performances along both days’ routes as well as exclusive finisher medals commemorating this special event. A new feature for 2026 is the Challenge Anjou'R & Nuit, encouraging runners to complete both a Saturday evening 12 km run followed by the Sunday morning option of the same distance. Those who take on this double challenge will receive a special medal celebrating their achievement.
