ALOHA Winterlauf Linz 2026/2027

Get ready to lace up your running shoes and hit the winter trails with the ALOHA Winterlauf Linz, the perfect training ground for spring classics. This dynamic series offers flexibility and fun on three chilly Sundays throughout the early months of 2026.
The event takes place along the picturesque Danube River in Linz, Austria, where runners will circle a flat 2.5 km loop around the city’s scenic waterfront. The route winds past iconic landmarks such as the Brucknerhaus and provides stunning views of the river, making for an engaging and visually appealing course.
Participants can choose their distance on race day from three options: two laps (5 km), four laps (10 km), or six laps (15 km). Whether you're looking to maintain your fitness over winter at a leisurely pace or push yourself with a more challenging run, there’s something for everyone. The 5-kilometer option is ideal for testing your form, while the 10-km and 15-km routes are great preparation for upcoming marathons.
Race day activities kick off around 7:30 AM at the Lentos Kunstmuseum in Linz with registration and number pickup. The start time for all distances is set for approximately 9:00 AM, ensuring a smooth transition from pre-race preparations to hitting the pavement.
The ALOHA Winterlauf offers more than just running—it’s about camaraderie among runners as you tackle winter together. With consistent routes at each event throughout the series, participants can track their progress and compare times across different race dates.
