Aflac Kita-Kanto Family Present's Water Margin Vagabond Marathon, 1st Running Festival at Chiba Lake (Aflac 北関東ファミリー Presents　水戸黄門漫遊マラソン　第1回 Runningフェスティバル in 千波湖)

Experience the rebirth of the Mito Chihaba Lake Road Race on February 11, 2027. This vibrant race features four categories: elementary school students run 1.5km, middle schoolers cover 3km, and high school as well as general participants compete in a challenging 5km course along the scenic shores of Chihaba Lake. All runners receive timing tags attached to their bibs for precise record-keeping, with top three finishers in each category receiving special recognition.
The event coincides with the opening day of Mito's Plum Festival, offering an enchanting backdrop of blooming plum blossoms and historic sites like Kairakuen Garden, a must-visit location after crossing the finish line. Entry fees are as follows: elementary school students 1000 yen (plus 240 yen registration fee), middle school students 1000 yen (plus 240 yen registration fee), high school and general participants 3000 yen (plus 240 yen registration fee).
