6º Corrida e Caminhada de São Judas Tadeu

On October 11, 2026, the picturesque city of Niterói will host the eagerly anticipated sixth edition of the São Judas Tadeu Run and Walk at Icaraí Beach. This beloved annual event kicks off early on a crisp Sunday morning with participants gathering in front of Paróquia São Judas Tadeu for an energetic start to their day.
Organized by RR Eventos and Vlow Eventos, alongside the support from Niterói's Secretariat of Sports and the Municipal Prefecture, this race promises to be a celebration of health, perseverance, and faith. The scenic coastal setting offers breathtaking views as runners traverse through Icaraí’s vibrant streets and along its pristine shoreline.
Participants can choose between 4km and 8km routes that wind through some of Niterói's most iconic landmarks while enjoying the warm community atmosphere. Runners aged 14 and above, with parental consent for minors, will experience a challenging yet rewarding course designed to test their limits in one of Brazil’s most scenic urban settings.
Registration opens on August 13th, offering several pricing tiers until October 10th when slots fill up or deadlines are met. All participants receive official race kits including medals and timing chips, with options for additional merchandise like event t-shirts and drawstring bags available at a premium in the earlier registration periods.
The day before the main event, on Saturday, October 10th from 9am to 7pm, all registered runners can collect their race packs directly from Paróquia São Judas Tadeu. There will be no kit distribution on the actual race day itself.
Competitors in both distance categories are eligible for impressive trophies and recognition across various age groups, adding an extra layer of excitement to this already vibrant community event. As participants cross the finish line back at Icaraí Beach, they’ll not only earn their medals but also a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie with fellow runners from around Brazil.
