About the Event

On December 13, 2026, the Heeze location will host the third walk of the 60th edition of OLAT's Day Walks. The event offers several distance options to cater to various levels of experience and fitness.
Participants can choose from a full-day adventure with a 40 km route starting at 8:00 AM, or opt for shorter distances such as 30 km, 20 km, 15 km, and 10 km. The walk begins at Manege Meulendijks on Strabrechtseheideweg in Heeze.
Registration fees vary by distance but range from €6 to €9 per participant. A discount of €1 is automatically applied for early registrants. Members of OLAT or the Walking Federation (KWbN) can receive additional discounts, with OLAT members getting a reduction of €4 and walking federation members receiving a discount of €2 upon providing their membership number.
The route is marked clearly to guide participants through scenic landscapes around Heeze. Along the way, walkers will enjoy refreshments at designated rest stops provided by OLAT's mobile service stations. These services include free snacks for those who collect tokens beforehand and up to three additional cafés depending on the distance walked.
For convenience, registered participants can download a GPX track of their chosen route from Saturday morning leading up to the event start time. This feature is available via an email confirmation sent upon registration.
Participants are encouraged to visit the registration desk at Manege Meulendijks before the walk for final preparations and collection of tokens or refreshment vouchers, even if they have already registered online.
The event adheres strictly to OLAT's participation regulations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. Join in for an invigorating day out on foot amidst beautiful surroundings and friendly company.
Wandelsportvereniging OLAT invites you to explore the scenic routes around Heeze during this annual walking event. Whether you're looking for a leisurely stroll or a challenging trek, there's something here for every walker.
