Urban Run Operatie Fazant

On the evening of December 11, immerse yourself in Breda's rich history with an Urban Run dedicated to commemorating General Maczek’s legacy. The run begins at Kamu on Boschstraat and covers approximately 8 kilometers through both well-known and lesser-known sites that bear witness to World War II. Along the route, guides from the Maczek Memorial share stories about the city’s liberation and its significance.
A Polish re-enactment group adds an authentic touch by bringing history to life as you run past significant landmarks. The race concludes at the specially opened Maczek Memorial, where participants can reflect on their journey through Breda's wartime heritage. Afterward, transportation back to Kamu will be provided via historical military vehicles from the era of liberation.
Upon your return, warm up with a cup of glühwein or hot chocolate as you celebrate this unique blend of physical challenge and cultural insight.
Enjoy an evening that combines fitness with profound remembrance in Breda.
