5K for CASA

Join the Zeta Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta for their second annual 5K For CASA on April 3, 2027. This community-run race not only celebrates the long-standing partnership between National CASA/GAL and the Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation but also raises vital funds to support abused and neglected children in Collin County.
Participants will gather at 9:00 AM for a scenic run that winds through local parks and neighborhoods, offering runners plenty of opportunities to enjoy springtime beauty while supporting an important cause. The course is USATF certified (TX25001MWC), ensuring it meets the highest standards for accuracy and fairness.
Proceeds from this event will directly contribute to CASA programs, empowering volunteer advocates who work tirelessly within the child welfare system to ensure that every child receives a safe, stable future. Since 2007, Zeta Upsilon has donated over $58,000 to support these efforts, and they invite you to be part of this impactful tradition.
Whether you're running for personal fitness or in solidarity with the cause, the 5K For CASA promises a memorable morning filled with community spirit and meaningful contributions.
