2027 Death Valley Borax Marathon, Half Marathon, & 10K

Participants will traverse this scenic route, with runners completing two loops for the marathon while half-marathoners and 10K participants enjoy an out-and-back course.
The starting line is just a stone’s throw from Badwater Basin, marking the lowest point in North America at -282 feet, offering spectacular views of Telescope Peak towering above at 11,043 feet. As you run, you'll be greeted by striking desert vistas and unique geological formations like the Artist's Palette, known for its vibrant hues that paint a stunning backdrop against the vast wilderness.
The event takes place during one of Death Valley’s most inviting seasons when temperatures are mild—nights cool down to around 30-40 degrees Fahrenheit while daytime highs hover between the low 60s and mid-70s.
