3rd Annual Santa's Resolution Fun Run/Walk

Join us for an uplifting and social running experience as we kick off the winter season with our Centreville Run & Walk Event. Scheduled for December 12, 2026, this festive gathering is all about connecting with friends and staying active through the colder months.
Choose from three time options: a leisurely hour-long stroll, a two-hour exploration, or an endurance-focused three hours of running/walking. The route features asphalt roads around Centreville Baptist Church in beautiful Nova Scotia, offering scenic views as you navigate gentle terrain with only minor elevation changes every 5 kilometers.
Participants will start their journey at the historic Centreville Baptist Church and follow a clearly marked course that takes them through residential areas and along Highway #359. The path includes turns onto Saxon Street, Lauren Drive, Sherman Belcher Road, and back to the starting point for each loop of the 5-kilometer circuit.
The event is designed as an enjoyable social run/walk rather than a competitive race. Aid stations will provide water and Gatorade at designated points throughout your chosen duration. Remember to bring your own reusable cup or bottle since this is a "cupless" event, reducing waste while you enjoy the outdoors.
After completing your run or walk, join us for a warm reception back at Centreville Baptist Church from noon until 12:45 pm. Savor pizza delivered fresh by Domino's and indulge in coffee pods, water bottles, pop, and an assortment of cheesecakes. You can select your favorite toppings during the registration process to help us cater to all tastes.
Santa Claus will make a special appearance at noon, bringing holiday cheer and small gifts for everyone who participates. He'll also invite you to share one New Year's resolution as we look forward to 2027. Don't forget to dress up in your favorite Christmas-themed attire; Santa might even pick out the most festive runners or walkers from among those present!
The event is limited to just 35 participants, ensuring a cozy and intimate atmosphere where everyone can connect easily with fellow enthusiasts. Register now for $28 plus a Race Roster processing fee of $5.46. Remember that all registrations are non-refundable but will be deferred to our St Patrick's Day fun run/walk on March 14, 2027.
With full washroom facilities and ample parking available at the church, this event is designed for comfort and convenience while celebrating community spirit through physical activity. See you there!
