39th Annual Run Through the Vineyard

Experience Temecula's premier running and walking event with the "Run Through the Vineyard," now in its 39th year. This beloved community fundraiser organized by the Temecula Sunrise Rotary Club takes place on April 25, 2027, offering a scenic course through the rolling hills of the picturesque Temecula Valley wine country.
Early bird registration opens December 1st and runs until midnight PST on April 24th. Participants can choose from three challenging courses: a CHALLENGING 10K race, a spirited 5K run, or a leisurely 2K walk through Maurice Car'rie Winery's vineyards. The event celebrates the vibrant colors of spring as runners and walkers wind their way past lush greenery and budding vines.
Race day kicks off early with registration starting at 6:30 am inside THE BARN (race location), where participants can pick up their bibs or complete any last-minute pre-race formalities. For those who prefer to register ahead of time, the option is available on April 24th from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm at Road Runner Sports in Temecula.
The race itself begins with the 10K event at 8:15 am followed by the 5K run starting at 8:30 am, and concludes with a family-friendly 2K walk beginning at 9:45 am. All participants will receive an official T-shirt upon completion of their chosen course.
Awards are presented for first, second, and third place in each age group following the conclusion of the 5K race. The event also features a post-race celebration with live entertainment, complimentary wine tasting (two glasses per person), food discounts, and other festivities from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Maurice Car'rie Winery.
Parking is free for all participants on race day, ensuring easy access to this memorable event. Join us as we support local youth programs, scholarships, literacy initiatives, and community leadership training through your participation in the "Run Through the Vineyard."
