26th Legend of the Fall - Bob Brown Memorial Cross Country Trail Run/Walk

The Legend of the Fall race, established in 2001 as a tribute to Regina's running legends under Coach Bob Brown, honors his enduring legacy. In 2007, following Coach Brown’s passing due to pancreatic cancer, the event was renamed "Legend" to celebrate his contributions and values. Known for starting the cross country program at Regina High School in 1987, Coach Brown led teams that achieved remarkable success, placing in the top four at state championships 24 times over 30 years with nine titles and two runner-up finishes. His impact extended beyond athletics; he was celebrated for his unwavering commitment to family, faith, and genuine care for athletes. On November 26, 2026, runners will participate in this event not only as a tribute but also as an embodiment of Coach Brown’s philosophy: "Nothing But Your Best."
