2027 Winters New Year New You Fun Run/Walk

Let's start the new year off on the "right" foot by participating in our "New Year, New You" Fun Run/Walk! All proceeds will benefit the Winters Runners and Walkers Club scholarships for Winters High School graduating Seniors who have participated in Track or Cross Country and will benefit the WHS Class of 2029 Parent Group. Participants can sign up online or day of and will start at the WHS Track. We hope to see you there!

ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSING:

Cutoff date for Online Registration is 12/31/26 at 11:59 PM.

REGISTRATION AND PACKET/PICK-UP:

Late Registration and Packet Pick-up 1/1/27 (Friday) at the Winters High School gym, 708 Railroad Ave, Winters, Ca 95694 from 3pm-5pm & Race Day 1/2/27 (Sunday Race Day) at the highs school track, corner of Grant Ave. and Hemenway Street, Winters, Ca 95694 from 6:30-9:30am.  Saturday Race Day registrations close at the start of each race. 

START TIMES:

8:00am Start 8K (3 Hour Limit after race start time)

8:10am Start 5K (3 Hour Limit after race start time) 

8:10am Start 1 mile timed

9:30am 800 meter Kids Dash

REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS:

All Races Finishers receive custom medals. 8K, 5K and 1 mile finishers receive Chip Timing,  a custom medal and T-shirt. The 800m kids dash finishers receive a custom medal.

***All Shirts Guaranteed before 12/18/26).  Any extra shirts will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis after the start of each event at Registration.

NOTE:

The 5K & 8K course is open to regular traffic, please observe all traffic laws. Volunteers may be at intersections along the course. The 5K & 8K course will start opening sometime after 10:00 AM, there is a 3 hour timed course Limit for 5K and 8K races after the race start times. The start line will be separated by Pace Markers. 

FEES:

1 mile Kids Dash $15.00 (no shirt).

1 mile timed $25.00.

5K timed $40.00

8K timed $45.00
