2026 National Mountain Climbing Challenge (Wudangshan Station) (2026年全国登山挑战赛（武当山站）)

The 2026 National Mountain Challenge Race at Wudangshan, organized by the Chinese Mountaineering Association, will take place on November 22, 2026, in the scenic Wudang Mountains of Shiyan City, Hubei Province. With a total race distance of approximately 7.1 kilometers and an elevation gain of 710 meters, participants can choose between two categories: the Speed Race Group for 500 runners aiming to complete the mountain course as quickly as possible (starting at 8:15 AM), or the Hiking Group for another 500 enthusiasts who will trek along the route in a more leisurely manner starting from 8:25 AM. The race begins at the parking lot near Zixiao Palace and culminates atop Jin Ding, offering breathtaking views of the mountain landscape throughout. Spaces are limited to 1000 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
