2026 Chaoyang District Binhe Half Marathon (2026朝阳区滨河半程马拉松)

A Class C event under the Chinese Athletics Association, the half marathon starts on November 1 on the North Central Axis landscape avenue, between the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube, and finishes on the east bank lawn of Beijing's Wenyu River Park. The first wave starts at 7:30 and the second at 7:38. The field is 6,000 for the single 21.0975 km race.
Pre-registration ran from 10:00 on September 30 to 18:00 on October 8. Places are decided by lottery, and successful applicants then pay the 100 yuan fee.
The event is themed around simplicity, a minimalist and eco-minded marathon. The course links Olympic Forest Park, the Qinghe waterside corridor and Wenyu River Park, and the organizers describe it as flat, suited to both first-timers and runners chasing a personal best.
