Trails-Giving / La course des sentiers 5K

Trails-Giving is the inaugural race of MDR Trails, set to take place on one of New Brunswick's most picturesque autumn routes. Whether you're running, jogging, or walking, this 5 km point-to-point course offers something for everyone. The event starts at Dieppe Aquatic Centre and finishes at Parc Rotary St-Anselme.
Participants can enjoy a blend of multi-use trails (77%) and paved sections (23%), with the first kilometer featuring a short trail start followed by a residential sector on pavement where runners will naturally spread out. From kilometers 2 to 3.5, you'll be back on scenic multi-use trails, surrounded by natural surfaces and tree cover. The final stretch from kilometers 3.5 to 5 is entirely on the trail leading down to Parc Rotary St-Anselme.
The race is organized by MDR Trails (MDR Conservation and Trails Association Inc.), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to connecting Moncton, Dieppe, and Riverview through a continuous network of trails. Registration includes chip timing from Atlantic Chip, a finisher's medal for all participants, personalized bibs, and free shuttle service to the start line.
Participants will gather at 9:00 am on October 12, 2026, with no minimum pace required. Families are welcome, including those with strollers, but dogs are not permitted on the course due to safety regulations. The race concludes around noon as participants make their way back to Parc Rotary St-Anselme.
At the finish line, expect a lively atmosphere at Parc Rotary St-Anselme, complete with food and drinks from local establishments like Le Barbu. Shuttle services will be available for those who park at the finish line and need transportation back to Dieppe Aquatic Centre. For participants parking at the start, options include IGA Coop Dieppe and Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre lots.
Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable, so mark your calendars for this special event that celebrates community and nature in a unique way along the trails of Dieppe.
