On June 6, 2027, the third leg of the energetic and exhilarating Copa Interior series will take place in Sorocaba. This multi-sport extravaganza offers athletes the chance to challenge themselves across three disciplines: triathlon, duathlon, and aquathlon. The triathlon events range from a beginner-friendly Fitness level with 375 meters swim, 5 kilometers bike ride, and 2 kilometers run, up to the Olympic distance which includes a demanding 1.5-kilometer swim followed by a 40-kilometer cycle and concluding with a 10-kilometer run. For those preferring two sports over three, duathlon enthusiasts can choose between shorter distances like the Fitness level featuring a 1 kilometer run, a 5 kilometers bike ride, and another 2 kilometers run. The Olympic distance is more intense, starting with a 5-kilometer run, followed by cycling for 40 kilometers, and ending with a final 10-kilometers on foot. Aquathlon participants will enjoy the refreshing pool-to-road challenge across various distances, from the Fitness level’s short swim of 375 meters coupled with a quick 2 kilometers jog to the Olympic distance which features a substantial 1.5-kilometer swim and a vigorous 10-kilometer run. Sorocaba's vibrant atmosphere will be buzzing as athletes push their limits on scenic routes through the city’s parks, streets, and around its lakes.
