About the Event

Experience the wind of the Arakawa River as you run alongside friends and family for an unforgettable race day! The 15th anniversary edition of this popular marathon offers stunning views of iconic landmarks like Mount Fuji and Tokyo Skytree. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out, there's something for everyone with distances ranging from half-marathon to kid-friendly one-kilometer events.
Participants in the half-marathon (70km) will pay 7,000 yen, while those taking on the 10km route are charged 6,000 yen. The shorter courses of 5km and 3km cost 5,000 yen for adults and seniors. For high school students, entry is just 3,500 yen, with a reduced rate of 2,500 yen for elementary and middle school runners. Families participating in the one-kilometer relay event will be charged 3,500 yen per team.
All participants receive thoughtful gifts: stylish shoulder bags are awarded to those aged 16 and over who complete any distance from half-marathon down to 3km. Every child running in the family-friendly one-kilometer race receives a custom-designed gold medal as an extra treat.
