About the Event

A one-way course with no traffic lights, billed as another Yokohama marathon. It starts and finishes at Shin-Yokohama Ekimae Park behind Yokohama Arena and follows the Tsurumi River downstream past five bridges. Mt. Fuji can be seen from the embankment, and the sound of the wind carries along the riverside cycling path.
Races run from 1.5 km to the half marathon, including 3K, 5K and 10K, pair events and a 1.5 km run with a pet dog. There are also 10 km and 20 km ekiden relays using a 2.5 km out-and-back section, with a team registration fee of 2,000 yen plus 3,000 yen per person. The half marathon cutoff is 2 hours 30 minutes in the athlete division and 3 hours 15 minutes in the relaxed division.
