10 km de Morcourt - Label Bronze (Régional)

On February 28, 2027, the picturesque town of Morcourt will host its annual running festival with events tailored for runners and families alike. The main attraction is the 34th edition of the 10 km race, which winds through Omissy twice before returning to the starting point in Morcourt. Limited to just 900 entries, this challenging course offers scenic views and a competitive atmosphere.
For those looking for a shorter distance, there's also a timed 5 km event with limited spots available at 7 euros each. Both races provide participants with refreshments like beer or other beverages upon completion. In addition, runners can look forward to podium finishes in various categories including age groups and overall rankings for the top six finishers.
The day kicks off early with a leisurely walk around Omissy starting at 9:00 AM followed by athletic activities on the village square from noon onwards for young athletes and children. These events are free, encouraging participation without any pressure to compete. The event concludes in the afternoon with an impressive lineup of races that cater not only to seasoned runners but also to newcomers and families seeking a fun day out.
Registration is strongly recommended ahead of time as no on-site sign-ups will be available for either race. Runners can enjoy recognition through awards, flowers, or plants for female participants, making this festival both competitive and celebratory in nature.
