Kicking off the New Year with energy and excitement, the Spring Festival Miyoji Marathon Relay is set to take place on January 24, 2027. This vibrant race celebrates the start of the year with a unique blend of athletic competition and cultural festivities.

The race offers something for all levels of experience and skill.
Adding to the fun atmosphere is the appearance of Granpas's official mascot, "Gurara," who will be decked out in a traditional festival robe and cheering on participants throughout the day. Spectators can also enjoy various food stalls offering local delicacies from kitchen trucks stationed along the course.
A highlight for runners is an exclusive raffle with giveaways including high-end prizes such as Apple Watches for those lucky enough to win, adding an extra layer of excitement to their race experience.
Registration fees vary depending on age and event:
- For Jogging: Middle school students pay 500 yen while general participants are charged 1,000 yen.
- In the Marathon category: Middle schoolers still pay just 500 yen whereas adults incur a charge of 2,000 yen.
