2027 Steveston Icebreaker 8k

Kick off the year with the Steveston Icebreaker on January 17, 2027, and enjoy a scenic run along Richmond’s picturesque waterfront. This family-friendly event features an 8KM race/walk for adults looking to chase personal bests or simply have fun, alongside shorter distances designed specifically for kids—2.5KM runs and 1KM Kidsruns.
Participants in the main 8KM race will receive personalized bib numbers, chipped timing, a finisher medal, and a $20 gift card redeemable at New Balance (with a minimum spend of $75). Post-race refreshments, including snacks and drinks, are provided to help you refuel. Additionally, runners can look forward to samples from Blonyx and discounts on their products.
For the younger participants in 2.5KM or 1KM runs, registration includes personalized bib numbers and finisher medals, along with healthy post-race snacks and juice boxes. All children who complete either race distance will also receive Icebreaker stickers as a special treat.
Registration for personalized bibs must be completed by December 15, 2026, to ensure your name is included on the day of the event. The Steveston Icebreaker promises an enjoyable atmosphere and stunning scenery along Richmond’s waterfront, making it ideal for both competitive runners and families alike.
