PHOENIX - Surrey - Valentines Run 2027

Love runs through the heart of London on Valentine's Day as Phoenix Running hosts its annual Love Run along the picturesque Thames River trail. Whether you're looking for a romantic outing or a personal challenge, this flexible timed event offers options to suit every runner’s pace and ambition.
Choose from distances ranging from 5km to ultra marathons, with each lap covering an out-and-back course of approximately 3.28 miles (5.3 kilometers). With a generous 7-hour time limit, you can complete as many laps as your heart desires or simply enjoy the scenic route and stunning views along the river.
The event welcomes runners of all abilities, from casual joggers to seasoned marathoners. Start anytime within a one-hour window, allowing for flexible schedules without compromising on convenience. If you have specific start time requirements due to travel delays or personal commitments, just contact Phoenix Running in advance; they are happy to accommodate your needs where possible.
As part of the race package, participants receive an array of benefits including real-time results published online and digital finisher certificates. For those who prefer a more minimalist entry option, there's also a "no medal / no hat" choice at just £20, covering base costs while keeping expenses low for runners during tough economic times.
The terrain is flat and fast with the course following an off-road trail along the riverside towpath, offering breathtaking views of London’s iconic landmarks. With no elevation gain or loss throughout the route, this event promises to be a smooth and enjoyable run through one of the world's most beautiful cityscapes.
No matter how far you choose to go on February 14th, every finisher will receive a bespoke hat and medal as part of their recognition for participating in Phoenix Running’s Love Run. Join us for an unforgettable day filled with scenic beauty, camaraderie, and personal achievement.
