Kakinada Marathon 2027 (9th Edition)

On January 24, 2027, the ninth edition of the Kakinada Marathon invites runners to join forces for an important cause: raising awareness about platelet donation. This year’s race is more than just a run; it's an opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of those battling cancer.
The event offers four different distances — 21.1 kilometers, 10 kilometers, 5 kilometers, and 3 kilometers — ensuring there are options for runners at all levels. Participants will have the chance to enjoy the stunning coastal scenery along Kakinada’s shoreline while contributing positively to their community.
Running alongside fellow participants, you'll not only experience a vibrant atmosphere but also gain insight into the importance of regular platelet donations. Platelets play a crucial role in saving lives, especially for cancer patients who often require these components during treatment. Unlike other blood products, platelets have a very short shelf life and must be replenished frequently to meet hospital needs.
By signing up for this event, you become part of an initiative aimed at encouraging eligible donors to give regularly. Together with the Samtrupti Trust, the Kakinada Marathon aims to build awareness and foster a community committed to supporting those in need through blood donation efforts.
Join us on January 24, 2027, for a day filled with purposeful running along the picturesque coast of Kakinada. Your participation will contribute towards creating a lasting impact beyond just crossing the finish line.
The event is more than a race; it's an opportunity to support those fighting cancer and ensure that vital platelet supplies are available when needed most.
