Cardinia Fun Run & Walk 2027

Experience the vibrant community spirit at the 2027 Cardinia Fun Run & Walk, set to take place on Sunday, February 28th. This year's event promises an array of running and walking options—5 kilometers for runners seeking a challenging route or a leisurely stroll through picturesque landscapes.
The course weaves its way through Deep Creek Reserve Pakenham, offering participants stunning views as they run past reserve wetlands and the golf course. The iconic award-winning all-access park and playground add to the allure of this family-friendly event.
For those looking for an extra burst of fun, don't miss out on the 2.5km Kids Colour Run starting at 10:00 am. Participants can enjoy a vibrant and colorful experience as they run through the course with friends or family members in tow.
The race is organized to raise funds for the Cardinia Community Foundation, supporting local initiatives that help vulnerable community members. Whether you're running the full 5km, taking on the 10km challenge, or simply walking at your own pace, every step contributes to a greater cause.
Participants are encouraged to lace up and take part in this event designed for runners of all abilities. The day begins with bib and T-shirt collection from February 23rd through 26th, available at Cardinia Life (4-6 Olympic Way, Pakenham) during staffed hours. On race day, the action kicks off early: Bib and T-shirt pickup is open until 8:00 am for those who prefer to collect on-site.
