About the event
Set between the Uji River and the Kizu River, the Kumiyama Marathon lets runners enjoy the town's natural surroundings while promoting the joy of running, good health and friendship among participants. Residents of Kumiyama get priority entry, and only residents may apply until October 18.
The 10km costs 3,500 yen (3,000 yen for junior and senior high students). The 3km costs 2,500 yen (1,500 yen for junior and senior high students, 1,000 yen for elementary pupils), and the family pair costs 2,000 yen.
